36 year old female documenting life with cancer... In January 2008, I was diagnosed with Stage IB cervical cancer. I was treated with surgery in February 2008 and in remission until December. The day after Xmas, I found out the cancer had spread to my left lung and chest wall, which is now considered Stage 4.
This blog documents my journey to healing.
hi julie. i met you at sara's blessing way. i spoke to sara today and we were talking about how sweet and powerful saturday's gathering was, how everybody should have a blessing way, expecting or not.
i know i don't know you at all, but i wish i had taken a moment to wish you courage and strength in person. here instead, i wish you healing and peace in your heart and that of your family. you radiated such love for life and your daughter; the cancer doesn't stand a chance against it.
heartstrings, tug, tug. love you both.
ReplyDeleteme neither.
ReplyDeleteSuccinct, to the point, artistic, profound, expressive,... We're with you, Luka!

ReplyDeleteWhat an impressive drawing... the speech balloon and her little bow look like hearts and I'm really impressed with her use of an apostrophe.
ReplyDeleteI was impressed with the apostrophe as well. sweet luka.
